JOB HIGHLIGHTS-- Activity Director We are looking for outstanding individuals to lead the Life Enrichment/Activity team as a
Activity Director . You will make a difference in the lives of senior living residents by overseeing the activity program, and ensuring residents have a variety of engaging daily activities that stimulate the mind, body and spirit.
The schedule varies by location, but may require some weekends.
Responsibilities-- Activity Director - Developing the monthly life enrichment calendar to help meet the physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents
- Overseeing service plans and personal interviews with residents to gain insight into preferences and abilities
- Training all staff participating in life enrichment programs
- Maintaining a volunteer program, and ensuring they are trained and supervised
- Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events, to include driving company bus and/or vehicle when needed
- Monitoring budget, equipment, and supplies to ensure that the activity schedule can be completed successfully
- Capturing and sharing photos and videos of residence activities on company-approved social media and publication platforms, according to company standards
- Assisting the Sales Director with the planning and delivery of community events or activities at the community
- Designing the physical layout and decorations for activities, displays, and other life enrichment products that meet company standards
- Reviewing the activity program to ensure that it meets all state, federal, company, and other regulations and guidelines

Requirements Requirements-- Activity Director - Required: 1 year of activity or event planning experience
- Required: experience working in senior living
- Prefer: prior experience in leading volunteers and supervising staff
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS--Activity Director - Required: Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles/buses
- Required: Current/valid driver's license
- Required: Driving record that meets company insurance requirements
- Required: Age 25 years or older to meet company insurance requirements
