POSITION: Affordable Housing Specialist

LOCATION: Arcadia, CA.

STATUS: Full Time / Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Helping individuals & families find and secure affordable housing by assisting with applications for rental assistance programs and low-income housing
• Interview potential tenants to determine eligibility and needs, and guide them through the rental application process
• Assist clients in applying for and understanding various housing programs and subsidies, such as the Housing Choice Voucher program, public housing, and low-income tax credits
• Manage rental assistance contracts, monitor program compliance, and maintain records

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years similar experience in affordable housing management along with managing people, projects, materials & information; equivalent combination of education and experience is desirable
• Policies and Regulations- Knowledge of company policies, federal, state, and local laws regarding to government regulations & agency rules that pertain to properties managed
