The team values collaboration, precision, and balance—offering a supportive environment for professionals who want meaningful work without the grind of traditional public accounting.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Audit Sampling Staff Accountant to support their Audit Team, with a primary focus on audit sampling, testing, and data-driven procedures for nonprofit engagements. • Prepare and maintain audit workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation using Knowledge Coach.

  • Follow firm audit methodology and documentation standards.

  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure timely, accurate completion of testing.

  • Maintain compliance with professional standards and firm policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA eligibility not required).

  • Coursework or experience in data analysis, statistics, or audit sampling methodologies.

  • 1-5 years of public accounting, audit, or related financial analysis experience preferred.

  • Comfortable working with large spreadsheets/data sets; strong Excel skills required.

  • Experience with Knowledge Coach is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable in a flexible, collaborative setting.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation based on experience.

  • Full single health coverage.

  • 401(k) match and employer-paid supplemental insurance plan (Aflac-style).

  • Flexible, remote-friendly schedule and a culture that values balance and professional respect.
