Position Title: Automation QE Lead
Experience Level: 8 10 Years
Industry Focus: Banking / Financial Services (General Ledger)
Technical Focus: Mainframe (REXX), PeopleSoft, Robot Framework, LoadRunner
Design & Implement: Create robust, automated testing solutions for PeopleSoft and Mainframe environments.
Tool Expertise: Utilize REXX, Robot Framework, Selenium , and other industry-standard frameworks to eliminate manual overhead.
Efficiency: Identify and automate repetitive testing tasks to improve delivery speed and accuracy across the SDLC.
System Optimization: Lead performance testing for large-scale, complex programs and migration projects.
Bottleneck Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis on Mainframe systems to identify performance lags and optimize system behavior under peak workloads.
Benchmarking: Collaborate with stakeholders to define performance KPIs and ensure all systems meet rigorous financial compliance standards.
Data Integrity: Write and execute complex SQL queries (Joins, Aggregations) to validate back-end data and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Domain Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of General Ledger (GL) and Banking workflows to ensure test coverage is business-aligned and risk-focused.
Team Mentorship: Lead a team of QA engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to automation best practices.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as the primary liaison between Developers, BAs, and Project Managers to ensure a seamless testing lifecycle.
Process Improvement: Drive "Shift-Left" initiatives and continuous improvement cycles to enhance the overall testing toolkit.
Mainframe Mastery: Extensive experience with Mainframe systems and REXX scripting.
Automation Stack: Proficiency in Robot Framework, Selenium , or similar tools.
Performance Tools: Hands-on experience with LoadRunner or JMeter for large-scale load testing.
ERP Knowledge: Technical familiarity with PeopleSoft architecture and testing requirements.
Database Skills: Strong SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.
Domain: Proven experience in Banking/Finance , specifically within General Ledger (GL) modules.
Soft Skills: Proven ability to lead teams and manage stakeholder expectations in high-pressure migration environments.
