Job Title: Brewer
Location: Bardea Restaurant Group – Brewing at Roost Pub & Kitchen (Wilmington, DE)
Bardea Restaurant Group is known for its award-winning culinary and beverage programs that push boundaries while celebrating craftsmanship and hospitality. As part of our continued growth, we are launching a brewing program at Roost Pub & Kitchen , our lively neighborhood restaurant that blends elevated pub fare with a passion for craft beer and cocktails.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Brewer to join our team and support the brewing program at Roost. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a creative, high-quality brewing operation within one of Wilmington’s most dynamic restaurant groups.
What You’ll Do:
Assist in all aspects of the brewing process, including milling, mashing, fermentation, cellaring, packaging, and cleaning.
Execute recipes with precision while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Monitor fermentation and maintain accurate brewing logs.
Clean and sanitize tanks, equipment, and work areas to uphold a safe and organized brewhouse.
Assist with ingredient sourcing, inventory management, and production scheduling as needed.
Work collaboratively with the Head Brewer, chefs, and beverage team to align beer offerings with the culinary vision of Roost.
Represent the brewing program by engaging with guests and participating in events as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
1–3+ years of professional brewing experience required.
Strong understanding of brewing science, fermentation, and sanitation practices.
Ability to follow recipes and SOPs with precision while maintaining flexibility for creative input.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in producing excellent beer.
Ability to lift 55+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically active environment.
Team player with strong communication skills and a passion for craft beer.
