At Shaggy Chic we pride ourselves on providing high-quality grooming services in a safe, caring, and professional environment for over 25 years. Our growing client base means we are looking to add a dedicated Cat Groomer to our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including baths, haircuts, nail trims, ear cleaning, and de-shedding treatments
• Handle dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments with patience and care
• Consult with pet owners to understand and deliver grooming preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and work areas
• Monitor pets for signs of stress or health concerns during grooming

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional grooming experience preferred (willing to consider candidates with training or apprenticeships)
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of breed-specific grooming techniques
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to lift dogs up to 20 lbs. safely

Schedule: Shop is open Monday-Friday, 7 AM – 6 PM, Saturday and Sunday 7 AM- 3 PM We work with your scheduling needs.

Pay:

• $15-18/hour + Tips (100%)
• opportunities for added pay on additional services
