Job Description

Global Power Components is a privately held,  growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.

As a result, to continuous growth, we are looking to add a motivated  Class A CDL driver  to add to our logistics team.

This role is full time 1st shift Monday through Friday, candidate will be home in the evenings. 

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• Good driving record 
• HAZMAT Endorsement
• Dry van and flatbed experience required
• Experience with oversize loads preferred. 
• Commitment to providing customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important and appreciated.
• Ability to back trailers safely in to store docks or vendor location.
• Ability to occasionally lift 80 pounds.

Required Certifications/Licenses: CDL A

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safely transporting goods.
• Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.
• Achieve precise delivery time.

Maintain compliance with all DOT and FMCRS regulations which include but not limited to pre and post inspections, hours of service, medical cards and drug and alcohol compliance.
