Lead Ballet Instructor
Mini Movers Studio is hiring for an experienced, upbeat, professional and dependable dance instructor who is interested in being a part of a growing team to run our mobile Ballet classes in Swampscott MA on Saturday mornings beginning in January 2026!
As an instructor, you should be confident in leading classes for children ages 2-10 and have a passion for teaching quality dance classes, while creating a fun and nurturing environment.
As a Mini Movers Studio lead instructor you:
■ Have experience working in the dance field with ages 2-10
■ Must be committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive and fun environment while providing quality dance education and instilling confidence and creativity in all students.
■ Will teach age appropriate dance lessons. Resources will be given to aid in lesson planning.
■ Can think on your feet and are flexible with “in the moment” lesson plan adjustments.
■ Have classroom management skills.
■ Maintain professionalism with parents and students.
■ Commit to the dates of planned sessions.
■ Arrive at site at least 15 minutes to the start of class to set up and be prepared to begin.
■ Attend meetings or trainings when necessary. Meetings and trainings are paid.
■ Maintain professionalism with families and clients.
■ Dress appropriately for the type of class you are teaching. Shirts will be given out to all instructors and assistants.
■ Work collaboratively as a team player and communicate effectively with Mini Movers Studio Director.
Job Qualifications
■ Must have a background in dance education and Ballet
■ Ideally a 2 year minimum in teaching dance to ages 10 and under-but flexible pending candidate.
■ Must be willing to undergo a CORI check.
■ Must be committed to classes and session dates.
■ Have reliable transportation.
Schedule
Saturday Morning Ballet
9:15-9:45 AM Ballet Ages 2-3
9:45 -10:30 AM Ballet Ages 3-4
10:30-11:15 AM Ballet Ages 6-8
