We're Hiring!

Mericle Construction, Inc. is seeking a  Civil Designer who is proficient in Civil 3D/CAD to join our Land Development group for full time work with site grading, storm drainage, & utility design.

Mericle has developed more than 100 buildings in the Scranton/Pittston/Wilkes-Barre/Hazleton area. The Mericle team includes licensed architects, land planners, professional engineers, surveyors, licensed electricians, plumbers, carpenters, leasing and marketing professionals, property managers, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and revise civil drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D based on site data and project requirements
  • Support land development plans, including grading, utility layout, and erosion control design
  • Maintain drafting standards and coordinate with other disciplines to avoid conflicts
  • Assist with project documentation, reviews, and updates for “as-built” conditions

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in CAD/design
  • 2+ Years experience in Civil Drafting/Design
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office
  • Solid understanding of drafting practices, engineering concepts, and math
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently on multiple task
