Data Entry Clerk. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who excels at repetitive tasks, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy and consistency.
The primary focus of the Data Entry Clerk will be entering, verifying, and updating data related to pricing and building materials with a high level of precision. Onsite Work Location: This is an onsite position located in Indianapolis, Indiana (This is not a remote opportunity) Primary Responsibilities
- Accurately input and update data into internal databases and systems
- Verify and cross-reference pricing information for completeness and correctness
- Ensure accuracy of building materials data, including descriptions, quantities, and specifications
- Maintain organized records and follow established data entry procedures
- Identify and report any discrepancies or errors in pricing or material details
- Ensure all data is handled in a confidential and secure manner
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly data entry goals
- Complete repetitive tasks consistently and efficiently
Qualification & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with numerical and technical data
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry software
- Ability to understand and accurately process information related to construction or building materials (training provided)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to stay focused and productive during repetitive tasks
- Good communication skills and ability to follow written instructions
- Previous data entry or construction materials experience is a plus, but not required
Compensation and Benefits
- $20-$22 hourly range, commensurate upon experience
