The Director - Project Management leads day-to-day operations and provides strategic oversight on workflow, resources, and processes for the Brand and Creative team. This Director leads our project management team and is responsible for strategic planning, operational excellence, and effective cross-department collaboration. This position utilizes expertise in business operations, performance tracking and reporting, and technology to drive the success of our team and projects, and to ensure operational alignment across the team. This leader sets the tone for accountability, drives operational rigor, and fosters a culture of high performance and collaboration.  

Job Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Serve as the operational lead and strategic advisor to the VP of Brand & Creative, with full visibility into all projects, priorities, and performance.  
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the project management team to drive customer satisfaction, continuous growth, productivity, and streamlined project execution.   
  • Oversee project intake, prioritization, and resource allocation to ensure projects are executed effectively, efficiently, and within scope.   
  • Own and implement systems for tracking project progress, forecasting, and reporting to ensure transparency and stakeholder confidence.  
  • Collaborate with other Company leaders on project management standards, processes, and operations to build a high-performing organization.   
  • Serve as a point of escalation and provide actionable plans for project delays, challenges, and competing priorities.  
  • Responsible for full project lifecycle including project follow-up and integration of feedback to continually optimize quality of work and team and customer satisfaction.  

Strategic Planning & Execution   

  • Help define strategic priorities and initiatives and develop actionable plans to achieve them.   
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress towards goals, and adjust strategies as needed.   
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and coordination to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives.   
  • Ambassador of change management effectively mitigating risk while managing organizational changes and developing strategies for adoption.  
  • Enhance employee engagement by seeking and implementing feedback on day-to-day activities and helping to execute engagement strategies.  

Creative Operations

  • Implement innovative and scalable solutions for project management and delivery, resource management and allocation, digital asset management, and performance tracking and measurement to drive operational excellence and automation.   
  • Develop and implement onboarding and training programs for key roles in the Brand & Creative organization.   
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of platforms, tools, and software used for Project Management and Creative. Regularly review platforms for optimization and provide training resources.   
  • Manage the auditing of resources and SOPs to provide the most up-to-date information and workflows to the team.  
  • Assess and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and quality across all business functions. Provide support and training cross-departmentally to ensure alignment.  

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of various job functions in brand, creative and design including processes, tools, and operations. Understanding of website design and development workflows and technology, a plus.  
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals and deadlines.   
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively train teams and individuals and implement processes with accountability.   
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with a customer-centric and data-driven approach to decision-making.   
  • Ability to drive results while managing multiple high-visibility projects and day-to-day operations to achieve business goals.   
  • Experience delivering streamlined workflows and processes with automation, training resources, and measurable success factors.   
  • Experience with project management, creative, and web platforms including but not limited to Salesforce, Certinia PSA, Adobe, and Figma.   

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field  
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in agency operations, project management, or related roles, with a proven track record of success.   
  • Direct Creative Project Management experience required.   
  • Project Management certifications, a plus.   

Travel Requirements

  • Travel for this position may include quarterly travel to attend internal and external meetings, however, this may vary based on business needs and opportunities. 

Fair Labor Standards Act Status

  • Salaried Exempt: Personnel will earn their regular salary and not be entitled to overtime pay when they work over 40 hours in a workweek. 

Supervisory Responsibilities 

  • This position will manage a team of people with a variety of skills and experiences to support business objectives 

Expected Salary Range: $92,500-$154,000
