Rate: $60/hr. on W2

Duration: 13Weeks + possible extension

Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM 05:00 PM) | No weekends, no call

Job Description

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment. This position is based in a busy adult outpatient setting and requires a candidate with strong experience in adult echocardiography, including advanced imaging modalities and carotid ultrasounds.

Responsibilities:

• Perform adult echocardiograms, including 2D, 3D, M-mode, and Doppler imaging
• Conduct carotid ultrasounds confidently and independently
• Utilize contrast imaging, bubble studies, and stress echo procedures as needed
• Calculate diastology, LV strain, LV volume, Simpson's Rule, and PISA as required
• Document and interpret results using GE E95 ultrasound equipment and PACS
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and isolation precaution protocols

Key Requirements:

• 2 years of Echo Tech experience preferred (1 year considered with screening)
• GE E95 ultrasound equipment experience preferred
• Must be comfortable and proficient with carotid ultrasounds
• Daily caseload: average of 8 studies per day
• No weekends, no on-call, no floating required
• Local candidates within 50-75 miles accepted at same rate
• Pending license accepted; must be active by start date
• First-time travelers may be considered with review

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 2 years of recent experience in Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonography
• Must have adult outpatient experience

License & Certifications:

• ARDMS or CCI Certification (RDCS AE)
• BLS Certification (AHA or equivalent)
• Oregon state licensure (active or pending)

Skills:

• Core Imaging: 2D/3D Echo, M-Mode, Bubble Study, Contrast Imaging
• Advanced Calculations: Diastology, LV Strain/Volume, Simpson's Rule, PISA
• Work Settings: Adult Outpatient
• Equipment: GE E95, PACS, Philips
