Estimator II | Hybrid

Commercial Building Products Company

Hybrid: 3 days in-office | 2 remote

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 DOE

Location: Norcross, GA

Our client is a well-established commercial building products company supporting large-scale projects across the U.S. The team works closely with sales, operations, and manufacturing partners to deliver accurate, competitive pricing for commercial work ranging from healthcare and education to infrastructure and transit projects.

We’re seeking an experienced Estimator II to join a collaborative estimating team responsible for material takeoffs, pricing, and formal bids for commercial construction projects. This role offers exposure to complex work, a supportive team environment, and long-term growth within a stable organization.

The right person enjoys working through drawings and specifications, understands how commercial projects actually come together in the field, and brings both technical skill and sound judgment to each estimate.

Day-to-Day:

• Prepare material takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff and/or Bluebeam
• Develop pricing using Excel-based tools
• Build formal bids and budget proposals in the ERP system
• Review drawings and specifications to identify scope gaps and risks
• Maintain bid tracking in CRM and internal systems
• Communicate with sales teams, reps, distributors, and contractors
• Support junior estimators with review and guidance
• Assist with market and competitor research for assigned territories
• Contribute to large, high-profile commercial projects

What We’re Looking For:

• 5–10 years of experience in construction or building products estimating
• Strong understanding of commercial construction and bidding
• Experience with takeoff software and Excel
• Ability to read commercial drawings and specifications
• Good communication and organizational skills
• ERP experience a plus
• CRM experience a plus
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Office Environment:

• Hybrid schedule in Norcross (3 days onsite / 2 remote)
