**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** Join our team as a General Production Worker in a dynamic pipe shop environment. This role requires adaptability as you will work in a large, bustling facility that can get quite dirty and loud. Be prepared to engage in physically demanding tasks in an environment where temperatures fluctuate from 55 degrees in the winter to up to 90 degrees in the summer due to the lack of climate control. Overhead cranes are part of the daily operations, and you will be involved in activities related to curing concrete. **Responsibilities** + Operate machinery and equipment used in the production process. + Assist in the assembly and packaging of products. + Engage in general labor tasks as needed within the pipe shop. + Ensure adherence to safety protocols while working with overhead cranes and curing concrete. + Maintain a clean and organized workspace despite the challenging environment. **Essential Skills** + At least 6-months experience in construction, welding, machine operation, or as an auto technician. + Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced and physically demanding environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in production and general labor is beneficial. + Proficiency in assembly and machine operation is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** Experience a supportive work culture with opportunities for overtime, allowing you to increase your earnings while working in a challenging yet rewarding environment. **Work Environment** The facility is large, dirty, and loud, with temperatures ranging from 55 degrees in winter to 90 degrees in summer. Work hours start between 4 AM and 5 AM, ending between 2 PM and 3 PM, with occasional extended hours until 5:30 PM depending on workload. The dress code is practical, requiring multiple sets of work clothes due to the nature of the job. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marathon City, WI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
