**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker where you will be responsible for palletizing and shrink-wrapping products, cleaning and sanitizing workstations, and moving products and materials with a manual pallet jack. You will weigh products before they are transported to the warehouse and document digital weights accurately. Additionally, you will handle bags weighing up to 50 lbs, and collaborate with another employee for weights exceeding this limit as per company policy. The role involves pushing and pulling bowls on wheels that weigh up to 1,000 lbs, with a requirement to move at least 8 bowls per shift. This position is physically demanding and requires standing for extended periods. **Responsibilities** + Palletize and shrink-wrap products. + Clean and sanitize workstations. + Move products and materials using a manual pallet jack. + Weigh products and document digital weights accurately. + Handle bags weighing up to 50 lbs, collaborating with another employee for heavier weights. + Push and pull bowls on wheels weighing up to 1,000 lbs, with a requirement to move at least 8 bowls per shift. **Essential Skills** + Experience in a general labor, construction, manufacturing, or similar environment within the last 5 years. + 1 year of continuous employment with the same company in the last 5 years. + Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours per day, as verified through past experience and references. + Capability to lift 50 lbs, as verified through past experience and references. + Willingness and ability to drive a forklift. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with using a tape measure, hand tools, and power tools. + Experience in machine operation, sorting, production, manufacturing, assembly, packaging, and general production. + High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required. **Why Work Here?** Work in a small town, family-like environment with a focus on safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Employees must wear steel-toed boots, a hair net, eye protection, jeans, a shirt, a bump cap, and a lab coat. The facility can reach up to 90 degrees in the summer but remains comfortable in the winter. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, with shifts from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm or 4:00 pm to 2:30 am. You must be willing to work overtime on Fridays.
