JOB OVERVIEW

• Job Title: General Radiologist

• Job Type: Locum Tenens

• Location: Flagstaff, AZ

• Service Setting: Imaging Center / Hospital-Based ER Coverage

• Coverage Type: Clinical Only

• Coverage Period: 02/02/2026 – Ongoing (February through July)

• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00a – 5:00p with 1-hour lunch

COVERAGE DATES

• Two weeks per month

• Coverage spans February through July 2026

PATIENT INFORMATION

• Patient Demographics: Adults

• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 70–80 reads per day for locum providers

• Phone Consults: Included as part of ER support

• Case Mix: Emergency department general radiology with occasional basic fluoroscopy

FACILITY INFORMATION

• Office Equipment Available: On-site diagnostic imaging equipment

• Specialty Backup Available: Permanent radiology team onsite

• Support Staff Available: Radiology technologists and clinical support staff

• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage for general radiology services

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Orientation: All hours billable

• Malpractice Insurance: Covered

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• General diagnostic radiology interpretation

• Occasional basic fluoroscopy

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active Arizona medical license required; IMLC accepted

• Board: Board Certified in Radiology

• DEA: Active DEA required

• Certifications: BLS required

• Experience: General radiology experience with ER case mix required

• Other Qualifications: Must provide on-site coverage; remote reading not permitted

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide general radiology coverage for emergency department imaging

• Interpret diagnostic studies accurately and efficiently

• Perform basic fluoroscopy procedures as needed

• Collaborate with onsite radiology staff and clinical teams

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
