**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in an industrial setting. You will diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including faulty wiring, motors, sensors, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Your role will involve performing preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery, reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals, and ensuring compliance with local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including faulty wiring, motors, sensors, and PLCs.
+ Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery.
+ Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
+ Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
+ Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve system performance and reduce downtime.
+ Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
+ Recommend and implement improvements for energy efficiency, reliability, and cost reduction.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of industrial electrical experience.
+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
+ Proficient in VFDs, motor starters, control panels, and industrial sensors.
+ Ability to handle up to 480 voltage, wiring, and blueprint schematics.
+ Experience in conduit bending, pulling wire, and mechanical maintenance.
+ Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and three-phase systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Journeyman's license or equivalent certification is preferred.
+ Experience with solar and low voltage electrical maintenance is a plus.

**Work Environment**
This position is onsite with available shifts: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm) and 2nd Shift (Wednesday - Saturday 1pm - 11pm). All candidates will train on 1st shift for 30-60 days. The environment requires coping with Iowa climates, enduring heat and cold conditions, managing fast-paced workloads, and tolerating loud noise levels.

This is a Permanent position based out of Waterloo, IA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $63000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
