Job Description

Pay: $135,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year

Note: This position is hybrid, requiring employees to work on-site 2-3 days per week at our clients Stamford, CT office, with flexibility to work remotely on other days.

Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have a minimum of one (1) year of litigation experience, strong research and writing skills, and experience drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions.

Job Description

  • Handle a variety of complex litigation matters, including civil, white-collar defense, and securities cases.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis across a range of litigation topics.
  • Participate in internal investigations and client interviews.
  • Work collaboratively with partners and senior associates on litigation strategy, case management, and client communication.
  • Prepare for and assist with depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to deadlines and detail.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Connecticut Bar.
  • Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience in a law firm or judicial clerkship (preferred)
  • Exceptional writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Judicial clerkship experience strongly preferred but not required.
