General Information:
- Hours of Operation: 8:00am 5:00pm
- Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes, but traveler must have 1 year of ambulatory clinic experience
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? only if have previous ambulatory experience
- Travelers must live >100 miles away from facility
- Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
Patient Types:
- Rheumatology this position is specific to the Rheumatology Clinic
Required Certifications:
- RN : BLS
- LPN: BLS
- MA: BLS; Certified MA - CMA certification must be issued by - AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or AMCA
Education Required:
- RN/LPN: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; RN South Dakota License
- MA: High School Diploma/GED Equivalent in General Studies
Skills required:
- Rheumatology experience is highly preferred
- Medical Assistant: Rooming of patients, ambulatory EPIC experience, MA skills to include: injections, EKG, point of care testing)
Support in the Clinic:
- MA/CA
- LPN
- RN
- MD
- APP
- Phlebotomy: Clinic has its own lab department
- Radiology
Charting System:
- Experience with EPIC in an ambulatory clinic is REQUIRED
Floating: If yes, where? Yes, occasionally
Orientation: (facility and unit)
- Dependent on specialty
- Medical Assistant: 3 days

Scheduling:
- Weekend rotation: N/A
- Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? No call
- Holiday Expectations: N/A
- Approval of time off? by Superviso
