Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain robust relationships with healthcare providers and hospital systems.
  • Demonstrate complex medical devices to medical professionals to showcase product value.
  • Provide technical product training to clinical staff to ensure proper usage and integration.
  • Develop and implement effective territory growth strategies.
  • Manage sales pipeline through CRM to track progress and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with clinical specialists for thorough product evaluations.
  • Maintain detailed account records to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
  • Actively participate in medical conferences and trade shows, with a focus on the American College of Surgeons and the Medical Device & Diagnostic Industry (MD+DI) conferences.
  • Conduct regular visits to healthcare facilities to assess needs and present solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials tailored to the territory.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams based on client interactions and market observations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business is essential for understanding product applications.
  • Proven medical sales experience with a successful track record in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of hospital purchasing processes and decision-making committees.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements is critical.
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills to effectively communicate product benefits.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with medical professionals at all levels.
  • Strong technical aptitude for learning and explaining complex products to diverse audiences.
  • Clean driving record and professional appearance are mandatory for representing the company.
  • Willingness to travel within the Burbank territory and beyond as necessary.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Sales role within a Medical Device setting is required.
  • Familiarity with the Burbank healthcare market and key stakeholders is preferred.
  • Understanding of regional healthcare policies and hospital systems in Burbank is advantageous.
