Job Description
Work Schedule : This is a full time position with 40% Physician Leadership responsibility plus 40% - 60% clinical practice time in Urgent Care for a total of 80% - 100% FTE. Hours will be scheduled Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours may vary and additional hours may be required to meet the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a
Medical Director, Urgent Care and Healthline to:
- Lead an exceptional clinical team of over 20 physicians and 25 advanced practice clinicians known for its commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
- Support a strong, collaborative culture where teamwork, respect, and staff well-being are deeply valued
- Help shape the future of UW Health Urgent Care through the opening of a new Urgent Care clinic featuring state-of-the-art space and on-site advanced imaging
- Partner across care settings, working closely with Primary Care and the Department of Emergency Medicine to ensure patients receive care in the right place and at the right time
- Drive innovation by exploring the integration of artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies to enhance access, efficiency, and outcomes

Education : Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy
Work Experience : - 3 years of progressively responsible experience as a practicing physician.
- Leadership experience related to programmatic, departmental, physician, or medical staff administration
Certifications : Board certified with active medical license.
