Position: Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to maintain and optimize enterprise-level database systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability. This role demands strong ownership, proactive issue resolution, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and support Oracle database environments (11g 19c+).
Perform upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Manage database backup/recovery, HA/DR (RAC, DataGuard), and system health monitoring.
Automate routine DBA tasks and maintain data integrity and security.
Support production releases and 24x7 on-call rotation.
Collaborate with development teams and continuously enhance system efficiency.
Non-Negotiable Skills:
7+ years of Oracle DBA experience.
Strong performance tuning expertise.
Full database administration cycle support.
Experience with Oracle RAC and recovery management.
Preferred:
Financial services experience.
Knowledge of OS (AIX, Linux, Windows).
Exposure to other RDBMS (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Sybase).
Cloud platform experience.
