**Responsibilities**
**Duties and Responsibilities** (include but not limited to the following) **:**
+ Ensure Compliance to applicable Food Packaging Standard(s).
+ Leads by example and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
+ Understands and follows departmental rules and regulations including, but not limited to, QC telephones, two-way radios, quality equipment and security of the QC lab.
+ Retrieve and review the Product Specification Sheet for each run.
+ Identifies/adhere to the visual attributes of product as described in the General Thermoforming Standard.
+ Evaluate and assign specific part specifications.
+ Perform in process inspection and data entry into the data collection system.
+ Ability to read and understand control charts.
+ Ability to accurately use measuring instruments.
+ Ability to identify nonconforming product and successfully communicate problems to production.
+ Obtain disposition for held/nonconforming product.
+ Perform cold storage, product retention and other functional testing.
+ Provide thorough inspecting, approving, and documenting 1 st piece parts upon startup after changeovers.
+ Accurately complete all QC paperwork.
+ Verifies box labels are accurate.
+ Follow up on previous quality problems to prevent re-occurrence.
+ Maintain awareness of past customer complaints.
+ Verifies the correct raw material is being used as specified on the Product Specification Sheet and document changes.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
Work Relationship:
Reports to: Quality Supervisor and Production Supervisor
**Qualifications:**
+ Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
+ +1 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the plastic industry.
+ Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to other departments to meet production goals.
