Senior Accountant to join their corporate accounting team in the Tysons Corner area. Title: Senior Accountant
Location: McLean, VA
Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 + bonus + RSU (annual restricted stock units)
Job Type: Permanent / Full-Time
Position Overview: As a Senior Accountant, you will be integral to executing the close process with high precision and accuracy. You will oversee accounting, reconciliation, and reporting for fixed assets, commissions, lease accounting, and pre-paid expenses, ensuring timely and accurate financial operations across departments.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage accounting for corporate fixed assets, leases, and sales commissions
• Coordinate with various departments for timely and accurate expense accruals
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with key SOX controls
• Assist with external audits and special projects as needed
Qualifications: • Minimum of three years of accounting experience, ideally in public accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA track or parts preferred
• ERP financial system experience, with NetSuite preferred
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent communication, organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
