Job Description

Cordia Resources' non-profit client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting and smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and experience in non-profit financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.
• Oversee accounts payable processing and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Provide audit support , including documentation and coordination with external auditors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain financial integrity and transparency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in accounting, ideally within a non-profit environment.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks ; experience with Anybill is a plus.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
