Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000

New Jersey Communities United (NJCU), in a decade-long partnership with CWA Local 1037, has organized a base of childcare providers, early childhood workers, teachers, and parents across New Jersey. Position Summary:
We are seeking a self-motivated, experienced Senior Community Organizer to build a base of leaders and strengthen our current member leadership. This position reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the Field Director and our base of early childhood workers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting training, education, and leadership development with parents, community organizations, and labor unions across New Jersey. The Senior Community Organizer, along with the Field Director, will work with the Executive Director and Communications Director to develop short and long term campaign goals, tactics and strategies.
