All products are designed to help people build good oral care habits.

quip is a truly omni-channel business with strength in DTC, Retail, Amazon and Dental Professional DTC channels.

We are seeking a Social Media Content Intern to create video content for quip's social media channels, primarily TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, IG, and YouTube.

As an integral part of our growing marketing team, you are someone who lives on the For You Page and loves creating content that engages, entertains and inspires . You understand culture and fandom, and are able to catapult into the online conversation in surprising, funny ways. You are in-tune with social trends and able to respond quickly in order to capitalize on those opportunities.

The ideal candidate is highly creative and self-motivated, has excellent communication skills and collaborates well with others. This person will work directly with our Content Marketing Manager and other team members on our Creative, DTC, Lifecycle, Retail and Product teams.

Also, this individual has had AI experience with creating and/or exploring ways to integrate AI into the quip social ecosystem.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Trend reactive. Able to seek trending content, relevant moments.
  • Seek new partnership opportunities based on trending brands / products.
  • Conceptualize, produce, film and edit video content for quip's social media channels such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
  • Research and identify trends and opportunities across multiple channels
  • Write captions and fill out Airtable cards for each piece of content
  • Organize, upload and manage assets through Google Drive
  • Analyze performance through our reporting software Dash Social

REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently pursuing or within one year of degree compilation with a degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or a related field
  • Must be able to work 20 hours per week
  • Must be able to commit to 6-month internship
  • Must be located in NYC and able to attend in-office days, photoshoots and events when needed
  • Strong passion for content creation, social media and internet culture
  • Comfortable being behind and in front of the camera
  • Familiar with in-app tools across social platforms and video editing software like CapCut
  • Prior experience with creating content for other brands is required

COMPENSATION

  • Hourly Rate: $20 to $25 (based on experience)
  • Time Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per week. We will work with the selected candidate to establish a schedule that fits both their availability and team needs.
