Sr. FPGA Engineer

Chicago – Onsite

About The Role:

As our Sr. FPGS Engineer, you'll design and build high-performance trading systems, from ultra-low-latency algorithms to high-bandwidth computing solutions. You'll own the full development cycle-ideation through implementation-creating bespoke solutions to complex trading challenges. With zero margin for error, your work will enhance market stability while delivering speed and reliability. You will partner closely with software engineers and traders and craft well-architected systems that make a measurable impact in days, not months.

What You'll Do:

• Design high-speed hardware to accelerate network infrastructure and trading systems.
• Research low-latency techniques and emerging platforms, integrating them into our trading stack.
• Collaborate with traders, software developers, and infrastructure engineers.
• Optimize FPGA performance by leveraging top-tier hardware or building custom solutions.
• Oversee and maintain relationships with third-party vendors.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in CE, EE, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience  in FPGA and/or ASIC design, coding, testing, and verification.
• Proficient in VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, and C/C++.
• Skilled in RTL synthesis with timing, area, and related constraints.
• Hands-on with digital simulators and self-checking test benches.
• Post-silicon bring-up and debugging experience is a plus.
• Strong collaboration skills for rapid integration with software teams.
