Sr Site Reliability Engineer Location Hybrid work in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX : Sabre is a technology company that powers the global travel industry. Simply put, we connect people with moments that matter. Sabre is seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer to support the NPO Team. This person will report to the Site Reliability Manager in the Technology and Engineering Operations Department Team/ Project description…… At Sabre, we're passionate about building software that solves problems. In this role you will plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools. Role and Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with operations and software engineering teams to design and implement scalable and high-performance solutions
  • Engage in any Cloud migration activities to assist the team
  • Engage in automation activities across products and platforms to reduce toil
  • Validate and configure current monitoring and alerting processes
  • Help document “tribal” knowledge
  • Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements (preferred skills, certifications, education)
  • Understanding of open source tools (Ansible, Jenkins ,Git, etc)
  • Understanding of Programming languages such as Java, C# and Scripting languages such as Python and GO
  • Understanding of CI/CD and Building pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Required Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as Developer/SysAdmin/DevOps engineer
    • Experience with several open source tools (Ansible, Jenkins ,Git, etc)
    • Strong expertise in Jenkins
    • Experience with Programming languages such as Java, C# and Scripting languages such as Python, Perl
    • Strong experience with Red Hat Linux. Must feel comfortable with shell scripting.
    • Strong expertise in Cloud, managing cloud infrastructure
    • Ability to influence and provide technical direction to the members of the agile team
    • Proactive team player with the ability to work in a globally dynamic environment.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks/subprojects simultaneously, organizational skills
    • Good written and oral communication skills.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, computer science degree preferred.
    • Fundamental knowledge of Load balancers (F5), firewalls, TCP/IP protocols.
    • Solid knowledge of web architectural and design patterns AWS,
    • GCP, Cloud Formation, Scripts, Terraform, CI/CD ITSM
