Job Title: Crew Member

Job Summary:
Alva Beer Co. is the first craft brewery in Alva, and we're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team! As a Crew Member, you’ll play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to an overall great experience for our guests. Whether you’re serving drinks, running food, or assisting with back-of-house duties, you are willing to do what it takes.
Responsibilities: any combination of

• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist with taking customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Run food from the kitchen to tables and assist with customer questions
• Provide timely, accurate service when handling beverages and other menu items
• Stock table caddies, assist with bussing, cleaning, and maintaining cleanliness of service areas
• Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure a smooth flow of service
• Handle transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system when necessary
• Maintain knowledge of our menu, including beer, non-alcoholic beverages, pizzas, and appetizers
• Assist with dishwashing, food preparation, and other kitchen duties during busy hours
• Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
• Adhere to Alva Beer Co.'s policies and procedures, including service and safety protocols
• Contribute to a positive team environment and work closely with management to ensure overall guest satisfaction

Qualifications:

• 21 + (if applying for beertender)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• A positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to different roles
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask
• Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or retail is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs
