Government Contracts Associate
About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced, diligent, and proactive government contracts associate to join our growing and dynamic team. Candidate must have strong analytical and writing skills, and should have at least 4-5 years' experience (preferably in a law firm setting) with bid protests; cybersecurity; acquisition regulation (including FAR and DFARS) compliance; drafting REAs and claims, related claims analysis and counselling, and CDA claim litigation; federal subcontracting and related dispute and flow-down/compliance issues; multiple award contracts; and small business procurement. Intellectually curious self-starters with a demonstrable ability to work on certain matters independently, as appropriate, are strongly preferred. Experience with aerospace/defense, infrastructure/construction, life sciences/pharmaceutical, and/or manufacturing industries would be a plus. Strong academic background is required. The ideal candidate will be committed to a rise to partnership, and have an interest in and propensity for (if not experience with) written and oral "thought leadership" and, ultimately, client development.
