The Interventional Radiology Lab provides care to both the acute inpatient population as well as the elective outpatient population. Care is primarily provided within the Cardiovascular Lab located on the 4th floor of the Pruyn Pavilion at Glens Falls Hospital. Staff is available 24/7 for any emergency procedure during off hours, weekends, and holidays. Care is provided through an interdisciplinary team of specialized physicians, registered clinical nurses and registered radiology technologists.
Angiogram of Multiple System
Peripheral Revascularization
Placement and Maintenance of Hemodialysis Catheter
Nephrostomy Drainage Tubes
Placement and Maintenance of Gastrostomy and Jejunostomy Tubes
Central Line Placement
Vascular Access to Include Port Placement and Integrity
Pain Management Intervention
Paracentesis/Thoracentesis
Pre and Post-Care for Patient having Renal, Liver, and Lung Biopsy
Carotid Stenting
Patient population: Adolescent - Geriatric
Trauma Level I
EMR: Cerner and McKesson
Dress code: Hospital provided scrubs
Requirement description :
Previous IR experience - Required
Experience with Adolescent-Geriatric - Required
Experience with procedural sedation, circulation, & recovery phase - Required
Float required to Cardiac Cath Lab - Required
Previous traveler - Highly preferred

1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY License, ACLS, BLS, PERM ADDRESS - Facility will not pend license/certs)

Travelers from the following counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments at Glens Falls (Perm address must be included in profile):

Weekend Requirements : 1 weekend every 7 weeks
On Call Requirements : 1 night a week
