Main Responsibilities of a Server:

• Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Operate POS system, and receive payments from customers.
• Update special menus daily.
• Organize pastry case.
• Know the menu, ingredients, and substitute options that are available.
• Polish and organize all dishes.
• Request a supervisor for any credit/refund need to be issued.
• Inform the supervisor of any issues.
• Maintain a neat, clean personal appearance.
• Make sure you have at all times your uniform in good condition.
• Maintain a clean store at all times.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Server Job Description:

Our restaurant is looking for a server with remarkable hard skills and engaging people skills.

The right person for this job should be able to multitask food and beverage orders and run food. Our restaurant prides itself in providing efficient service, which is why we are looking for a waiter/waitress who will treat our guests with attentiveness, patience, and a positive attitude.

The responsibilities of a waiter/waitress in our restaurant are to greet guests, help them with menu recommendations, take orders at the POS, deliver orders, and clear tables. All our servers are also responsible for handling cash and credit card transactions.

To help our restaurant provide a pleasurable dining experience, a good server should be able to ensure that our guests are fully satisfied by being friendly, courteous, and reliable. A suitable candidate for the job should also be a problem-solver and a team player.

Responsibilities of a Server:

• Greeting and directing guests with a warm, friendly demeanor
• Providing menu recommendations and additional information.
• Upselling additional products when appropriate.
• Taking orders using Square POS.
• Ensuring order details reach the kitchen staff.
• Delivering food and beverages in a timely fashion.
• Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of tables and tableware.

Server Job Requirements:

• Must have prior experience as a waiter/waitress/food runner/busser
• Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be able to handle money transactions responsibly.
• Must be able to multitask and act quickly.
• Must be flexible and be ready and on time to work shifts.
• Must carry at least a high school diploma.
